ACW
so thanks to Storyofmylifesquared (check their cute blog out!) for introducing me to ACW and their ridiculously low priced makeup. this was the loot i racked up (all together ~$80) which should last me for quite awhile. i haven't bought eye shadow in what seems like forever because i hate shelling our $14 or $18 a pop. with prices like $6.99 or $7.99 how can i not stock up!

Entrepreneurialship/Lime Crime
“Sometimes it’s easy to have ideas, but somebody has to find a way to do it. Often those responsible for finding a way don’t have the idea.” – Karl Lagerfeld
while browsing around the net this morning, i came across Doe Deere Blogazine (if you haven't heard of this already, its written by the girl that started Lime Crime cosmetics). she had some wonderful advice on how to become an entrepreneur. these are some of the things she said:
1. Find your niche and act on it!
2. Be ready to make decisions-big and small.
3. Continue to innovate and try new things.
4. Be prepared to take risks in every aspect of your life.
5. Persevere as things get tough (which they will at some point).
pretty good advice huh?
on another note, i am really interested in trying out some of Lime Crime's lipsticks. the colors are so vibrant and quirky that its really hard to resist. these are the colors i am trying to choose between:
top row: Centrifuchsia, Airborne Unicorn
middle row: Countessa Fluorescent, Great Pink Planet
bottom row: Cosmopop, D'lilac
purple lipstick? psh. why not?! fun stuff kiddos. :)

Recent Purchases
1. Mac's Hello Kitty Lipstick- Strayin'
I had been wanting a brightly colored matte lipstick for awhile and fell madly in love with this particular color. I couldn't resist the urge to hurry and find it somewhere even though it was discontinued awhile ago. So excited that it comes in the mail today!
2. Miss Sixty Mary Janes
Literally for the past 6 months I have been looking for a great pair of Mary Janes with decent heel height, no patent leather, and a little uniqueness to them. I definitely found all of these qualities in this pair. I snatched them up the second they went on sale ($160 down to $89.99!).
3. Victoria's Secret- Long Jane Pajamas
How freaking cute are these. And let me tell you....super duper comfy! I will be wearing these at night as long as I possibly can...

Beauty Must Have's
Demalogica is my face-saver. I can't live without this line. I started using this line about a year ago and I will never go back to drugstore brands again. It can definitely be a little pricey, but they do last a long time. They have a ton of great products. I use the derma-clay cleanser (soothing, doesn't dry out skin, slight tingle), skin prep scrub (best exfoliater I have ever used), and the active moist lotion (only lotion that I actually enjoy putting on and doesn't leave skin feeling oily). I couldn't recommend a better skincare line.
Biolage Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner; Kiwi Coloreflector Shampoo and Conditioner
Both equally amazing and I switch off between the two brands so that my hair doesn't get too limp or too dry. I've used both since I was young.
Love the smell of this lotion and the shimmer it gives off. Not too much, but enough to notice. Reminds me of my first summer at college :)
