my new shoes!!!

eeeeekkkk! so excited about my new fabulous shoes. i have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER to get an awesome pair of color block platforms. and i couldn't ask for any better than these!

 

i cannot get enough of the young Tatum O'Neal. how naturally beautiful is she?! if you watch the 1980's movie, Little Darlings, you will absolutely fall in love with her...and the rest of the cast (including a super young and hot, Matt Dillon!).  i totally think that if we grew up at the same time, Tatum and i would be bff's. haha :)

i have always wanted to be able to play an instrument...like really well. 

(i don't count that time i spent in elementary school "learning" how to play the piano) 

maybe one day i will have enough free time to learn how :)

New Chevron Rug Headed My Way!**

ok so I have been wanting a new rug for like 2 years now, and just never found the right one (price, quality, pattern, etc.).  the one I have now is super cute and colorful, but it is wool and sheds like a 100 lb German Sheppard...hahaha  no really!  i have been looking around and finally settled on the very popular Chevron Rug. i'm pretty pumped about it too! now, if i can find those solid turquoise curtains somewhere...my living room would be perfection!

i miss my really long hair.  i can't wait until it goes back out and i can do all kinds of fun things with it!  i did take a risk yesterday and got some awesome fringe bangs...pics to come!

Okay, so I'm practically illiterate when it comes to designing anything graphically...but that's not to say that it doesn't fascinate and inspire me.  I have been thinking about taking short classes about graphic design or painting or drawing---just for fun.  Maybe when summer rolls around and I have a little more time.

a day late...but i say that you should treat everyday like valentines day when you are interacting with your loved ones. so cheers to everyday being LOVE day!!!  and cheers to pretty images!

Snow Day!!!***

I'm soooo excited that its been snowing for the past 12 hours!  Snow days for me = no work, wearing comfy clothes allll day, getting caught up on my knitting, and of course wearing cozy, handmade hats (my bestest grandma made it for me).

Hope everyone is snuggled up watching good movies in this weather.  I am gonna go play in the snow here soon....I'm itching for a good ole snowball fight!!!
